A robot on Apex keeps learning after it ships. It adapts to one home, one factory, one person over months, remembers them, and picks up new skills on the device. No data collection, no retraining, no round trip to the cloud.
Why it is different
The best robot brains today are vision-language-action models: a large transformer trained on demonstrations, then frozen. That is the wall everyone is hitting. A frozen policy cannot learn a new place without fresh data and a fine-tune that erodes what it knew, it keeps no memory of the people it serves, and its reasoning runs too slowly for fast, reactive control.
Apex was built the other way. It learns online, on the robot itself, and it forgets nothing.
